I told him about the screwed up reasoning he gave and all that, though I didn't really go into the hostage thing. I think it's hard to convey how bad that all was without actually being there for it, though. And I dunno if I'd really want to anyway.
It's a lot to go into all at once with a kid who's still a little groggy, so once we got onto one subject, I didn't wanna veer back to that part. But he'll hear about most of it sooner or later, from me or someone else.
It's just never gonna hit as hard when it's us sayin' it as it did when it was comin' from Adlet in his own voice, I mean.
