I told him about the screwed up reasoning he gave and all that, though I didn't really go into the hostage thing. I think it's hard to convey how bad that all was without actually being there for it, though. And I dunno if I'd really want to anyway.
It's a lot to go into all at once with a kid who's still a little groggy, so once we got onto one subject, I didn't wanna veer back to that part. But he'll hear about most of it sooner or later, from me or someone else.
