Did the leaders figure out what you were doing, or did they get told to arrest you by someone “higher up”?

[ like a punishment for them too. arrest your unruly charges and throw them in jail. this is what happens when you fail to control them. ]

Always. You can’t move freely if you’re being watched. And maybe we already are being watched — there’s certainly tons of cameras everywhere at any given moment. But there’s being watched, and being watched.

The police called in the leaders because they assumed they were being attacked by villains. [ he seems annoyed by this. ]

I think it's pretty obvious we're being watched somehow if we had a whole database about us before we even woke up. Plus we were all introduced at that party. The whole thing had to be a set-up for being under surveillance.

… Considering we have profiles and everything, you’d think the police would be better informed.

[ she’s just insulting them while in the prison, nbd. ]

Not if they were looking for an excuse. [ nyeh. ]

And here I thought we were supposed to be put on a pedestal.

Quick to be worshipped and quick to be cancelled. [ just as easily sarcastic. it's awful. ]

Juuust like modern day social media. It really is a virus.

[ he's nodding because he actually doesn't know that much about social media itself other than it exists and there are apps. ]

Then guess our next step is to figure out how to eradicate it.

At least the system here. If they want us to take responsibility for things that happen to heroes in training, why not start there?

Dismantling something like that’s not going to be easy. But it does sound kinda fun.

A good challenge? Let's say for...I dunno. Seven weeks. What do you think?

Make it quicker. I don’t like the idea of this happening again — the sooner it’s down, the less chance there is of something we can’t control happening again.

None of us like that it's happening, and if we could dismantle everything tomorrow we all would. [ he is prepping for the worst case scenario. ] We need to know more about why we're all really here if this is how they're going to respond to us.

That’s the main part. Knowledge, information. We can’t act without it.

Then we go back out there and try researching again. Maybe now that it's been a little time, we'll find something more useful.
