[ she just kinda reaches and tries to fix his fur a little and pet it down back into place. she looks conflicted and kinda grumpy, but WHATEVER Y'ALL DID THIS TO YOURSELVES. pets, pets, pets, pets. also there's a plastic bag of snacks hanging off of her arm. ]
[ but he doesn't regret it at all. so he just stands and allows her to smooth out his fur and hair, ears twitching and relaxing, a little of the tension leaving him bit by bit. not a lot - but enough.
