You were searchin' for clues with Taky, right? He told me he found a bunch of apples in the trash can where you guys were, but he took 'em all back with him and didn't turn 'em in.
I don't think it's a matter of hating you. Maybe someone who just thought it'd be the easiest way to get heat off themselves. Taky pointed out it'd be really easy to fake involvement just by leavin' apples around.

Last week was... a lot of us made some judgment calls that weren't solely evidence based. We chose to save one person who had more evidence pointing at 'em and sacrifice someone else who we knew by that point probably hadn't done it.

...Which is to say, no matter how much evidence they think they've got against you, and how little they have against anyone else, I'm not gonna let 'em vote you out, OK?
But that also means that even though I wanna treat whoever's tryin' to get you in trouble to a knuckle sandwich, I don't wanna spend too much time focusing on that evidence to potentially arrive at a dead end and let Whisper's killer get away with it. So I'm gonna focus on getting justice for her first.
[ Hanako can't really say anything about that because if he likes someone, he won't vote for them either. It definitely doesn't feel great, though, the idea of it coming down to who is more amiable having more support, despite the evidence.
