'Cause of what that note said? [ ... ] I'm gonna be honest, I kinda hope it is. Even if we don't know if it's true or not, it's a more understandable reason than almost any other, and there's at least a possibility that it might help everyone get outta this, screwed up as that is.
She'd said to me before that as a captain, the survival of her team was the most important thing, even if that might mean she'd have to make some sacrifices herself.

Oh, which reminds me, from that thing yesterday—
A month after the disaster, the Harbinger building has remained closed to the public. This building is off limits and still under heavy repairs. Despite this, newspapers are still being written and are in circulation.
These prinnies first arrived with Pink Pig. They seemed to be some sort of servant, though when asked for more details they would only respond with “They are repaying their sins.” What sins those are were unclear at the time of questioning.
Pink Pig’s prinnies seem to spawn from the newspaper building. Though the hero is lost to us, the prinnies they brought to the world are still working to this day. Occasionally, they can be seen entering and exiting the newspaper building. While rumors are currently abound, none are confirmed. These prinnies may be the ones stocking the newspapers throughout the city. There has been some talk of the prinnies paying off their remaining debt, though when pressed they would not reveal any specific details. They maintain what secrecy Pink Pig asked of them.
...So I think you might've been right on the money about trying to dig into the news HQ stuff before. Maybe the "editor" part's related to that.
Yeah. So you were smart to focus on that, even if ya didn't get too far.
[ i should probably note that this was a newspaper clipping; he's not sure if there's a second newspaper out there somewhere or if this one was reporting on its own weird activity and kind of spiraled over that a little last night ]
Kinda seems like the people who've died are communicating through it too, right? [ the cat pun... ] Which I guess would explain why the advice responses have been so off the rails.

They usually don't even allow walking around, if you were at the hospital for what happened to you...

Some trees in the park were on fire, and the penguin guys were there with a fire truck.
[ prinnies are such terrible firefighters. ]
We found Siggy not too far from there.

...Repaying... their sins...
[ Jesus Christ. But also I hope all of our murderers turned into Prinnies. ]
So the Harbinger is a lead after all... and probably why they won't respond to me about anything.

So... victims are haunting the papers...? Maybe we should try being a bit more specific with the questions then.
