[ he pauses for a moment as it really hits him what they're losing all in one weekend. he was just talking to reigen about this the other day, and now he's talking about it with ace, and after tonight he's not going to be talking to either of them about anything. it's not like he hasn't suddenly lost comrades before, but. still, this hits a little different. ]
...I was talking about that with Taky a couple of days ago. How glad we were that we all got to know each other, and how hard it was to imagine where we'd be even if we hadn't gone through that together.
So maybe we failed and got caught, but this was a hell of a silver lining.
