I don't wanna believe Emi went after Norma either, but... it's really kinda lookin' that way.

I didn't really know her, but Norma was friendly to everyone. It doesn't make any sense, but what Argalia said didn't make much sense to me either.

I wouldn't say that. I just like to scout the environment I'm in, you know? This isn't a mountain or a swamp, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't know what to look out for and avoid.

That's fair, but I'm not sure a pet shop really counts as the environment. Unless you're thinkin' in terms of someone tryin' to murder ya with one.

[ sometime after the execution, whenever adlet spots datz he'll give him a more proper wave than before. doing that while daisy chained is hard. ]

Course I was. I mean... losin' a friend's gotta be hard for anyone, even the strongest man in the world.

You're right though, even the strongest man in the world can feel down every once and a while. But that's why he picks himself up again with an even bigger smile.

...But yeah, that's what ya gotta do. "Someone who smiles no matter how bad it gets" — that's what they say a defense attorney's supposed to be, but I think it's a good thing for anyone to aspire to.

It's OK to take a little time to grieve too, though, long as it doesn't bog ya down and keep ya from movin' forward, y'know?
