[ it's very funny because none of the people who were on this cyoa have any idea ]
Yeah, we found 'em hiding under a desk when we first left the room we started in. Didn't have a name or anything. Pinkish hair. Kinda jumpy, but helpful. [ ... ] I think.
[ the dead nimona surprise has kind of complicated his feelings a little. ]
Well, they had blood on their face the whole time, but no injuries that we saw... and the floor we found 'em hiding on was the same one where you were, we'd just never gone into that room so we didn't see it.
One of the... [ slightly pained look ] ...guards kept accusing us of killing kids, plural, but we'd only killed one person at that point so we didn't know what he was talking about. But I guess that was it.
[ thinking about the second question... ]
They... yeah, pretty much. This whole thing was— it was like something screwed up happened to our brains and literally everything and everyone except that kid looked and felt and sounded like some kinda fleshy meaty thing out of a horror movie. They helped us fight off the cops and everything, and then at the end they said they could fix how we were seeing things. Which they did, somehow, but then they disappeared.
[ UNFORTUNATELY FIXING IT KIND OF JUST MADE EVERYTHING MORE TRAUMATIC ]
Yeah. And I mean, of course we said yes, 'cause it was real freaky having EVERYTHING be some kinda mangled flesh, y'know? I couldn't really even bandage any wounds 'cause the bandages and gauze and everything just looked like more meat.
[ hahahaha "how'd it go" ]
Uh. Well. After that, everything around us looked normal again, except it turned out we were the fleshy blob things, and everyone we'd killed to defend ourselves was actually someone we knew and cared about. So like— we'd just fought off six cops with guns and managed to kill 'em all just before that, but then when we looked back at that scene again, it was like... big H and Koko and TM and people we knew from home there on the floor in this bloody mess.
And that's when I looked at a security monitor that was showing the floor we'd started on, and saw you dead in that one room, and then... the others we'd run into up there at the beginning.
[ ... ]
Rita and JC were both really freaking out at that point so they didn't go into that security room with me, and they didn't see who'd really been up there on that floor.
she presses a little closer to him, carefully sliding her arm to loop with his. she's quiet for a couple of seconds, because she's thinking through some things, through what she knows, and... well, it doesn't seem to go anywhere great. she just sighs.]

Blugh. [...] Sorry you had to see me dead.
... The kid that was helping you? [she has a. slight suspicion as to who these memories may have belonged to, and it's making her kind of mad.]

but she doesn't say anything, she just rubs at her face.
she also notes the pause at guard and hopes that the guard wasn't ryuki,]
... Fuck. [she mutters, and then:] Did they ask you if you wanted your brains to be fixed?
[a pause.]
How'd it go after that, or did you leave at that point?

Just in case you were thinking like that.
