But he and I both know you only did it 'cause of this stupid place — 'cause you felt like you'd been backed into a corner and didn't have any other choice if you wanted to get out of this. And I think he sent you to me 'cause he didn't want you to have to go through this on your own if we didn't find you out during the trial.
I'm upset about it, 'cause Taky was a really important friend to me. Buddy, I appreciate that you're not trying to make yourself look more innocent than you are here, but the fact is that it was uninformed 'cause you were missing the info that would've told you there was no known benefit to the same team killing twice. If you'd heard that from someone you trusted instead of from a guy you were aiming to kill you probably would've thought a little harder about it. And even if it wasn't an immediate panic, it was out of desperation.
You're still responsible for the bad choices you made, but we can recognize that there were extenuating circumstances here.

I'll tell you what I told Reigen a few weeks ago: there is a not-small chance that if someone on one of the teams that has yet to act is suspicious of you, and believes there to be enough concrete evidence behind their accusation, then they may see you as 'fair game', so to speak, and target you based on that.
To ease your worries, I will tell you that my team will not, but that does leave others.

I'm not trying to be cagey, it's just the truth. I don't know how much I can say about the 'other circumstances.' And Nimona...I consider her a friend. I want to help, but considering I caused the problem in the first place, I don't know exactly what I can do.
